About KE2DIR

I am a new Technician class amateur radio operator. This blog is to document the adventure, communicate with other hams, share ideas and learn about new ones. Ham radio is fun because at first it is like an advanced puzzle. There is an answer to everything, sometimes you have to think of it yourself.

Why so Serious?

Right now the radio shack looks sloppy as I have just moved it to this household location. But as you can see,  for HF I run a Yaesu FT-710, with a Wolf River Coil Platinum 1000 antenna. For local repeaters and simplex I use a dual band Any Tone 778 UV (with a generic stick antenna), along with my very first radios. Bao Feng Dual Band and Bao Feng GMRS.

Plus a host of SWR meters, antenna analyzer, multi meters, coax crimpers, coax, number of whip antennas etc.. I like to trade, swap, and barter.

That's all for Now 73!
